An adaptation of a traditional Japanese weaving practice called "Sakiori" - the practice of rag weaving with old silk kimono fabric - this beautiful scarf is made from retired silk ties in rich shades of brown through black with a splash of turquoise and peach. Just as you would imagine, this scarf has a lovely soft hand and beautiful drape.  The scarf measures 12"x63.5" with an 8" fringe.  Hand wash cold and machine dry gentle cycle.
