Rag Rugs are constructed using strips of used fabric as the weft or horizontal threads and yarn as the warp or vertical threads.  In this instance, the weft was hand cut into 1/2" strips in black. The warp is 100% cotton in gold and white.  The finished rug measures 24"x16.5" with a handsewn hem.  This one of a kind rug is soft and thick and fully machine washable and suitable for floor or table.  We recommend a cold wash and a gentle cycle.
