2 Day Rigid Heddle Workshop

Service Description

This 2 day workshop is perfect for beginners & more experienced weavers. Day 1 - Working on a sampler you will learn a variety of lace weaves and hemstitches including leno, Mexican leno, Danish medallion and Brook’s Bouquet as well as Italian & trellis hemstitching. Day 2 - You will use the lace weaves and finishing techniques learned on day 1 to weave an attractive cotton or cottolin runner, table square or perhaps a lightweight scarf. *In addition to the workshop fee there is a material fee of $25 &loom user fee of $10 payable to the instructor at the beginning of class.
